Silence PT2

Electric vehicles promise to run on less energy, and be friendlier to the environment. However, some people worry that performance and style has to be sacrificed on the altar of the environment. Silence Inc, a joint venture between two Canadian companies, EBW (Electric Big Wheel) and T-Rex, have created the Silence PT2: an electric 3-wheel vehicle. The PT2 is advertised to last for 125-250 miles on a single charge, and can reach a speed of 120 mph.  It is 13 feet long, six feet wide and four feet high.

I saw one of those T-Rex in Montreal last summer on the way home from the Grand Prix. They are pretty slick little monsters and go like bats out of hell.

What's the deal with the name? Is it Silence PT2 or T-Rex?

Erik the new Electric version is called the Silence PT2.  The Silence PT2 is a result of the collaboration between two Canadian companies from Quebec – Electric Big Wheel (EBW) and Daniel Campagna's company (Campagna) that created the "T-Rex".  Daniel devoted more than eight years to creating this superb machine (T-Rex), which is a veritable reinvention of the motorcycle. He also personally handcrafted the first vehicles.

What is the 0-60 please? Is it faster than the motorcycle version? I think I would definitely feel more like a scientologist if I had one.
