"Bought this in 12/2008. A month or two later, started experiencing problems with brand-new blu ray discs freezing for a moment and then resuming--stop/start, stop/start. Figured it would be fixed through firmware. Wasn't. Samsung has horrible customer service policy--expects you to pay for shipping to/from and for labor after initial 3 month period. more

New pro/con: Freezes unpredictably and intermittently when watching blu-ray movies. This happens even when discs are new and being played for the first time and after firmware upgrades current and lens cleaned with wind-funnel disc.
