The HP LaserJet M1522nf MFP is a high end multi functionprinter that retails at $400 and was released in 2008. This piece is for small to medium size businesses. It can print, copy, scan and fax. It has an ethernet port, a feature that distinguishes entry level printers from the more advanced ones. It can handle complex files with its 450 Hz processor and 64 MB of internal memory. It can store up to 300 of fax pages (which seems quite low if compared with the 500 pages of the $100 cheaper HP LaserJet M1319f MFP in the same series). It speed of printing pages, at 23 pages mer minute is better than the HP LaserJet M1319f MFP but is the same as the $100 cheaper Brother MFC-7840W. It doesn't have automatic duplex print options (meaning that it can print, copy and san on two sides of a page automatically), which is kind of understandable since this belongs to more advanced printers that come around the $700 range like the Brother MFC-9450CDN

The HP LaserJet M2727nf MFP is a corporate multi function printer that retails for $600 and was released in 2008. It has a feature that alone can qualify it to be a corporate level printer: the automatic duplex, which means it can scan, print and fax on two sides of a page automatically. This feature saves up to 50% of time and paper. It obviously has the ethernet connection feature as well, a standard in all advanced printers. This printer comes as one of the cheapest of the automatic duplex printers (the cheapest offered by Brother is the Brother MFC-9450CDN at $693). It has an incredible speed of printing 27 pages per minute, which easily beats any printer in the more expensive Brother MFC printer series. It has an impressive 550 sheet capacity, and offers an exciting portfolio of features such as copy collation and concurrent print and fax.
