The Pros:Fit comfortably enough, don't hurt the ear canal if fitted with the right tips. Lightweight design, easy to forget that you're wearing them. Plenty of bass support, excellent for music with a heavy beat.
The Cons:Need to turn the MP3 player up higher than usual, drains the batteries. Bass overwhelms the mids a bit, poorly balanced.
Skullcandy's Asym headphones are a mid-range set of in-ear monitors. Like their name suggests, the headphones are asymmetrical and each bud is designed specifically for the left or right ear. Also, the thin cabling is meant to surround the ear to support the headphones, making these ideal for portability and athletic use.
They have 13mm drivers, allowing for more power and deeper bass than Skullcandy's more basic models. These come with three different sizes of silicon earcups that isolate sound, and a carrying case. The cord is 1.3m long and features a gold-plated 3.5 mm jack. The Asym are available in several different colour schemes.
