I picked up one of these little beauties this weekend at a closeout store (they apparently streamlined the remote, dropping it from a heavy black plastic behmoth that ate 8 AA batteries at a time to a slimline colored plastic remote that only chews on 6 and closed out the older model) The plane, however, appears identical. I was not expecting much, to be honest, I mean who would expect much from a $20 (USD) R/C airplane?
Sorry to sound like a kids gushing over a new toy, but the sky soldier rocks. I charged it for about 5 minutes, took it outside, powered on, throttled up, and hand tossed it into the air, climbed, banked, levelled off and flew it around in a few figure eights, buzzed my neighbours in thir backyard, and brought it in for a not so smooth landing nearly at my feet. I went back to the store and picked up a few more, just to have, just in case.
