The SkyCaddie SGX is a premium GPS rangefinder designed for easy one-handed operating and precision positioning. The signature benefit to the SGX is its compatibility with SkyCaddie’s SGX SmartClub Technology, which adds “intelligence and a wireless communication link” to every club in the user’s bag. This allows users to track the location of their clubs (where did I leave it?), calculate each club’s performance, and even sync the data with the Internet.

Additional Information

Additional features include a high-performance GPS engine for fast data acquisition, an omni-directional antenna that stays permanently locked onto several satellites, and 30,000+ pre-loaded points from the world’s most renowned golf courses. Unfortunately, the SGX is known to be difficult to use, which truthfully isn’t a surprise considering its multitude of features and complexity.
