The SMC SMC7904BRA2 is an ADSL2/2+ Barricade modem router designed for securely connecting to and then sharing a high-speed ADSL connection via wired connections. Once connected via an ADSL2/2+ (RJ-11) port, users can then stream content through 4 10/100 Ethernet ports throughout an entire home or small office. Unfortunately, the unit also runs at 24Mbps—ideal for streaming low-bandwidth content, checking email, and surfing the web. Overall, the SMC SMC7904BRA2 is a relatively low-speed and weak-powered tool; it makes up for this with an extremely affordable price.
