Snapture is an iPhone application that adds advanced photographic features to an iPhone’s default picture-taking abilities. It utilizes Snapture’s patent-pending QuickView (picture-in-picture) technology to allow the last four images that were taken to be displayed as small thumbnails on the bottom right of the screen. The user can then review, delete, and or email those pictures to anybody on their contact list. Included also is a 5x digital zoom, grey scale, auto-rotation, and a burst mode. Signature to Snapture is that there is no shutter button; instead, the user merely taps the screen anywhere and the photo is automatically taken. It currently retails at an introductory price of $1.99 — as it was just released onto Apple's App Store in September 2009 — but will later return to its original price of $7.99.
