The Burton Freestyle Binding is a low to mid cost snowboard binding. In promotion, Burton emphasizes the fact that they have forged the Freestyle Binding with minimized construction in mind (to keep it low-cost and lightweight), without sacrificing strength, comfort or feel. The bomb-proof polycarbonate construction of this binding provides strength and buttery flex. Since the entire binding is composed of this material (besides the buckles, straps and cushioning), the response and feel of this binding will remain consistent. The chrome-plated aluminum/lightweight polycarbonate buckles were made specially by Burton specifically for the Freestyle Binding, and offer a smooth, reliable feel. The Mission is a men's snowboard binding from Burton that offers a step-down from the company's Mission EST model. Featuring a single-component construction design for consistent response and a strong ride feel, this model utilizes Burton's "FullBED" advanced cushioning system to provide the feel of a custom-fitting boot. "Smooth Glide" chrome-plated aluminum buckles offer a smooth and lightweight ratcheting system for reliable performance on the slopes, and are guaranteed by the company not to wear out. Burton Cartel EST are snowboard bindings built to provide a secure and comfortable riding experience. The EST system is used here, removing all baseplate material and allowing the cushioning system to rest directly on the board. Forum Recon Binding

The Forum Recon Binding is a lower mid-cost offering. Forum promotes the Recon Binding as offering a simple, straightforward design, so that the weight and cost are kept down. The highback padding of this binding helps to make the fit comfortable. The soft EVA on the Recon Binding's toe ramp is also geared toward a soft fit. This feature also helps to dampen the impact of flat landings (along with the nylon composite baseplate). The Bubbler Strap ankle strap is thickly padded, and so is also geared toward comfort. The Burton Custom Binding is a mid-cost men's snowboard binding. With its lightweight design, Burton promotes this binding as being ideal for trick boarding. The Forum Shaka is a mid-cost snowboard binding. The Shaka's full-length adjustable EVA footpad (with F Gel cushioning in the toe and heel) helps to ensure that your feet will not absorb the shock, even on harsh landings. Burton CO2 are snowboard bindings that balance light weight with firm control. These are similar to the Burton CO2 EVA, but use a reduced base rather than eliminating it completely. This reduces the weight by 20% from traditional baseplates, and allows for FullBED cushioning to create a natural flex and feel. These bindings have increased compatibility over the Burton CO2 EVA as well, being compatible with 4x4, 3D and The Channel. Living Hinge and DialFLAD systems are used to make the bindings easily adjustable to exactly the desired fit, and a 50:50 Carbon Fiber and Nylon Composite are used to create a sturdy yet flexible hi-back. The Union Contact is a high-end set of snowboard bindings. The contact base of this binding is made of Dupont Zytel, a high strength, impact resistant material. The toe strap cap of the Contact is made of Ultra-Grip material, to ensure that you will stay in place. Union promotes their magnesium buckles as twice as light and four times as strong as aluminum. The anodized aluminum heelcups are 30% stronger than non-anodized heelcups, and are indestructible. This set of bindings differs from the higher cost Union Contact Pro set in that the Contact Pro's EVA bushings are triple-zone injected (which offers close to complete dampening and lots of board flex) rather than just dual-zone, it has a 3D multi-layer strap core (which evenly distributes strap pressure), Contact Pro highbacks (which are especially light, and pro snowboarder approved), and CNC machined heelcups (which have a reduced weight design that maintains strength), all of which the Contact binding lacks. Flux has added 20% fiberglass to it's already stable Emblem base, plus new cutout highbacks that's 10mm taller to increase responce. Further minimized the pressure placed on your boot while still being able to maintain excellent board control. Still the most highback angle adjustments in the Flux lineup and the best "all around" binding offered. Heel and toe pedals slide Adjustable. All adjustments are tooless except for highback rotation. Comes the the flux Toe Mask System (TMS).

Rapid toe/heel response is created by the teardrop cutout heelframe and balanced by a forgiving medial/lateral flexing baseplate.
