THe Ski-Doo Summit Freeride (2011) is a mountain snow sled designed for hardcore enthusiasts. This builds on the design of the Ski-Doo Summit X, and features a number of enhancements including advanced shocks and a chassis designed for durability. The engine is a 799.5cc E-TEC 800R that generates 155+ horsepower. The REV-XP RS chassis uses a forward steering post, and the Pilot DS skis are set in a wide ski stance that can be adjusted for the weight and height of the rider. KYB Pro 40 aluminum piggyback shocks are used in the front and the back with dual-speed compression adjusters, and the rebound can be adjusted at the front as well. The Arctic Cat Sno Pro 500 (2011) is a 2-stroke performance snowmobile built for light weight recreational riding. It features a 500 Laydown engine in a Sno Pro Race Chassis, enabling the 500 cc engine to work with a generally light weight body design for fast acceleration. The slide-action rear suspension frame works with adjustable torsion springs, allowing the sled to handle larger jumps fairly comfortably. The Renegade Backcountry X comes with a Dual A-Arm front suspension with an advanced geometry that keeps the skis firmly planted for precision and control, with little steering effort. The Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo Sno Pro (2011) is a 4-stroke performance snowmobile designed for aggressive riding styles. The 2011 Arctic Cat M8 162 is a mid-range snowmobile similar to the 2011 Arctic Cat M8 153. Arctic Cat TZ1 Turbo LXR (2011) is a 2 seat touring snow sled designed for comfort on the trails. This is the same as the Arctic Cat TZ1 LXR, but uses a turbocharger for extra acceleration and a higher top speed. Apart from the Z1 Turbo engine, they are the same. The 4-stroke engine has a 1056 cc displacement capacity, enabling it to handle heavy loads and higher speeds on the trail. A remote electric starter is included so that riders can let the heated seats warm up before they go outside, and an engine reverse is built in to make backing out more efficient than with an electric motor. This is a turbocharged version of the Arctic Cat Z1 LXR, and is similar to the Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo Sno Pro but with FOX Zero Pro (IFP) front and rear shocks and a heated seat. The handlebars are also set lower than seen in the Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo Sno Pro, encouraging a seated posture while riding. As with all sleds in the Z1 range, a slide-action rear suspension makes tight turns possible without loss of traction. A 1056 cc displacement 4-stroke Z1 turbo engine works with an ACT Diamond direct drive transmission with a reverse. The seat and handlebars can be adjusted to the rider's height and preferred riding posture.

The Arctic Cat F8 LXR (2011) is a 2 stroke performance snow sled built with a large engine and designed for comfort. This is very similar to the Arctic Cat F8 Sno Pro, but FOX Zero Pro (IFP) shocks are used for better response and impact absorption, and a storage bag is included. Apart from these items and some small changes to the look, they use all of the same components including a 794 cc engine and slide-action rear suspension for tight controlled turns without sliding. The Twin Spar chassis design is built to be completely neutral, allowing the seat and handle bars to be freely adjusted to personal preference for the rider's size and riding style.

The Arctic Cat CFR 8 (2011) is a performance snowmobile with basic bench-style seating for 2 people. This is similar to the Arctic Cat CFR 1000, but uses a smaller H.O. 800 engine with a 794 cc displacement. In all other ways they are the same, with a 2-stroke engine design and an engine reverse rather than an added electric reverse motor. The AWS VI double wishbone front suspension provides a stable ride to avoid tipping over, and the FasTrack Long-Travel suspension cushions bumps and reduces vibrations to make for a more comfortable ride on longer trips. The track is 128 inches long and 14 inches wide, which enables the motor to more effectively transmit power than the larger-tracked touring sleds. While this model does not have an adjustable seat, the handlebar can be adjusted to the driver's height.

Arctic Cat CFR 1000 (2011)

The Arctic Cat CFR 1000 (2011) is a performance snowmobile that uses a large displacement engine with a 2-stroke build. This is similar to the Arctic Cat CFR 8, but uses a larger 999 cc displacement engine. In most other ways they are the same, using a 2-stroke model for the engine and an engine reverse for fast backing out. An AWS VI Double Wishbone front suspension is used to keep the sled steady, and FasTrack Long-Travel suspension is used to keep the ride smooth and comfortable on longer trips. The track has a 128 inch length and 14 inch width, allowing more power to be driven to a slightly smaller contact patch than seen in Arctic Cat touring models. The handlebars can be adjusted to the height of the driver.

Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo EXT (2011) is a crossover snowsled with many of the features found in the performance Z1 series. While sharing many of the engine and chassis features of the Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo Sno Pro, it uses a much longer 144 inch Cobra track for better floatation over deep snow and more versatility on variable terrain types. The same 4-stroke Z1 Turbo engine is used with a 1056 cc displacement, and uses injector-based technology that continues to perform at high altitudes. The Twin Spar chassis is used for neutral weight distribution, allowing the seat and handlebars to be adjusted freely for the rider's preference. FOX Zero Pro (IFP) front and rear shocks are also used, which are well suited to overcoming obstacles.

The Arctic Cat Z1 LXR (2011) is a 4 stroke performance snowmobile with one of the fastest engines in the Arctic Cat collection. This closely resembles the Arctic Cat Z1 Sno Pro, but uses FOX Zero (IFP) shocks at the front and rear, has lower handlebars, a heated seat, and has a 1 inch lug in the track. It is also fairly similar to the Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo LXR but lacks a turbocharger. As with all sleds in the range, a slide-action rear suspension enables tighter turns without sliding. It uses a 1056 cc displacement engine for extreme acceleration and a balanced twin spar chassis that has a completely neutral balance to avoid any bias in the design for a specific riding style. The seat and handle bars can both be adjusted to the rider's height and preferred posture.

The Ski-Doo Expedition Sport (2011) is a utility snowmobile built as a low-cost solution for off-trail exploration. This is a scaled down version of the Ski-Doo Expedition LE and, while it shares the same basic construction, it has a simplified set of features to reduce the weight and the cost. The biggest difference is the transmission, now being a simplified single forward gear with RER electronic reverse. There are no passenger grips, but many of the other features that are signatures to the Expedition series remain. An SC-5U articulating rear suspension is used with a 20 inch wide track, and Pilot 6.9 skis can be adjusted to account for various types of terrain and cargo. The 2-up seat can be removed, and both a rack and hitch are built in to aid in hauling cargo. A basic Brembo hydraulic brake is used, and the system has an electric starter.

The Ski-Doo Expedition SE (2011) is a touring and utility snow sled for off-trail work. This is an upgrade from the Ski-Doo Expedition LE, adding several suspension enhancements while also adding a little to the overall weight of the sled. The SC-5U articulating rear suspension and 20 inch wide track are the same, and the Pilot 6.9 skis can be adjusted to different stances. A skid plate and heavy-duty front bumper have been added to deal with obstacles, and a 1500 pound WARN winch is attached above the hitch. The driver and passenger have their own 12 volt power outlets, and a heavy-duty 30 amp/hr battery powers the system. As seen in the LE model, an air radiator with fan is set up to account for the heat generated by a hard-working engine, and the system uses an electric starter.

The Ski-Doo Grand Touring SE (2011) is a luxury snow sled for up to three riders. This is similar to the Ski-Doo Grand Touring SE (2011), but has additional cargo and seating options as well as some comfort enhancements. The passenger grips and backrest are adjustable, and Grand Touring hard side cases are built in along with a tunnel bag. All seats are heated, including the quick attach heated modular seat. The Arctic Cat F8 EXT (2011) is a light crossover snowmobile built for variable terrain exploration. This is similar to the Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo EXT in frame and suspension design, but uses a smaller 2-stroke 794 cc engine. The H.O. 800 engine can output over 160 horsepower, and can work with a light weight engine reverse. Apart from the engine the other features are the same, including a slide-action rear suspension for tight cornering while maintaining traction and a long 144 inch Cobra track for travel over deep snow. The Polaris 550 IQ Shift (2011) model is a mid-grade snowmobile designed specifically for on-trail and touring use. The 550 IQ Shift is equipped with a 550 (544cc) Polaris engine composed of NaCaSil lined cylinders.

The 2011 Polaris IQ Shift snowmobile includes additional features such as an electronic ignition system, mechanical fuel capacity and speedometer gauges, standard driver/operator hand and thumb warmers, a 12" clear lens windshield and an 11.5 gallon rated fuel tank capacity. The IQ Shift snowmobile is also available with several separate accessories that are mean to be purchased alongside such as the 12v DC Outlet add-on, Handlebar Hooks, Rear-side mirrors, a rear luggage rack and a tow hitch.

The Ski-Doo Skandic SWT (2011) is a sport utility snow sled built as a workhorse machine. This is a more heavy-duty version of the Ski-Doo Skandic WT series, and features a larger engine with a wider track. The 24 inch track is the widest offered by Ski-Doo, making it able to handle heavier loads and work over more difficult terrain. The Rotax V-800 engine has a 799.9 cc displacement, and works with a Synchromesh transmission with a reverse gear. A Lynx telescopic front suspension offers comfortable riding while giving the ability to overcome more difficult obstacles, and a high windshield helps to keep the wind off of the driver and passenger. In addition to the underseat storage, a cargo rack and hitch are built in.

The Ski-Doo Grand Touring Sport (2011) is a light weight luxury snow sled. This is a feature-rich snowmobile focused on comfort that is closely related to the Ski-Doo Grand Touring LE, but has been sized down for more light weight riding and only supports seating 2 people. The same REV-XP platform is used with a dual A-arm front suspension, but rear air suspension has been removed to lower the weight. The extra-high windshield is found here, as well as the heated driver's visor power outlet and electric starter. A cargo rack has also been installed to carry equipment easier. Reversing is handled by an RER electronic reverse, and mirrors are installed to help when backing up.

The Ski-Doo Grand Touring LE (2011) is a luxury snow sled built for comfort over longer trips. The design ensures that there is room for a passenger as well as gear. This is a more full featured version of the Ski-Doo Grand Touring Sport, and features most of the features found in the Ski-Doo Grand Touring SE model that follows. An HPG-VR rear shock is used to absorb impacts beneath a quick attach modular seat with room for 2 + 1 passengers. An adjustable backrest is also available, and grips for the passenger are built in. SilenTrack technology is used to reduce the amount of noise from the sled, and an extra-high windshield is used along with side panel wind deflectors for a more comfortable ride.

The Ski-Doo GSX SE (2011) is a high end performance snow sled. This is similar to the Ski-Doo GSX LE, but uses several upgraded components including ACS (Air Control Suspension), adjustable steering and heated seats. The steering bar can be adjusted to 4 positions for comfort. The electrical system includes a push-button electronic reverse gear, a multi-function digital gauge display with a temperature gauge, a 12 volt power outlet, heated visor power outlet, and a heated seat. The 1 inch RipSaw track has also been enhanced to include SilenTrack technology to reduce noise. An air radiator with a fan is also built in to enable heavy usage without overheating the engine.

The Ski-Doo Summit SP (2011) is a light weight mountain snow sled built with race-style components. This is an enhancement of the Ski-Doo Summit Everest, carrying different skis, a more race-style brake line, and a multi-function digital gauge. This model is also very close to the Ski-Doo Summit X, which offers a wider variety of engine options at a slightly lower price. Upgrades from the Everest include Pilot DS skis, still set in an adjustable narrow stance, and a Brembo racing brake with braided stainless-steel brake line. A multi-function digital gauge has also been added. A REV-XP X narrow seat and standard HPG shocks are used to reduce the overall weight.

The Ski-Doo Summit X (2011) is a light weight mountain snow sled designed to power through deep snow. This is closely related to the Ski-Doo Summit SP, but has more engine options available and can only be purchased on a spring order. The model is also followed by the other spring order Summit sled, the Ski-Doo Summit Freeride, which uses an enhanced suspension and engine platform. This model includes an SC-5M rear suspension with HPG Plus shocks and a basic chromoly lower A-arm front suspension. Pilot DS skis are used in a narrow stance that can be adjusted for the weight and height of the rider. The braking system uses the Brembo racing brake with a braided stainless-tell line.

The Ski-Doo MX Z X (2011) is a cross-country racing sled designed for superior control. This is an enhancement of the Ski-Doo MX Z TNT, with larger engine packages available, a more elaborate shock system, larger track and a braking system specifically geared to racing. This is followed by the Ski-Doo MX Z X-RS, which is designed with a more aggressive profile and reinforced components. The rear shock system uses KYB Pro 36 aluminum piggybacks with dual-speed compression adjusters to provide the right response for specific situations. The front shocks are HPG Plus R aluminum with no-tool rebound adjuster to customize performance to any given track. The seat itself has also been upgraded to the REV-XP X seat, which leans the rider forward for a more aerodynamic profile.

The Ski-Doo MX Z X-RS (2011) is a race-inspired trail sled built for hardcore riders. This is based on the Ski-Doo MX Z X, but has added features for better handling and durability. The SC-5 rear suspension uses reinforced rails and a 4th idler wheel, and KYB Pro 40 shocks with dual-speed compression adjusters are installed in the rear and center. The same shocks are used at the front, but both the compression and rebound can be adjusted to perfectly suit any trail and conditions. The seat has also been switched to the REV-XP X narrow seat to reduce the weight and wind resistance, and the controls have been redesigned to more closely resemble race-style controls.

The Ski-Doo Tundra Sport (2011) is a low-cost sport utility snowmobile for a single rider. This is an expansion on the base Ski-Doo Tundra design with a wider 16 inch track, Pilot 6.9 skis, and a cargo rack for extra storage. This design is close to the Ski-Doo Tundra LT, but lacks an articulating suspension and hitch in favor of a lighter, shorter design. As with other models in the Tundra series, the slim REV-XU platform is used with an SC-5M rear suspension. Lynx telescopic front suspension overcomes obstacles smoothly and comfortably, and an HPG rear shock handles hard landings. The motor uses an electric starter, and an RER electronic reverse is built in for backing up.

Ski-Doo Tundra LT (2011) is a sport utility snowmobile built for handling deep snow and off-trail areas. This is similar to the Ski-Doo Tundra Sport, but also includes an articulating rear suspension system, a trailer hitch, and a seat that can handle two people sitting up close. The track length has also been extended to 154 inches for better floatation over deep snow. This is followed in the series by the Ski-Doo Tundra Xtreme, which includes center shocks, different skis, and a slimmer seat. The Ski-Doo Tundra LT uses the REV-XU frame for strong and light weight support, and uses Lynx telescopic front suspension to more easily overcome obstacles. An HPG rear shock helps absorb landing impacts.

The Ski-Doo Skandic WT 550 Fan (2011) is a sport utility snow sled built for general use in deep snow. This is similar to the Ski-Doo Skandic SWT, but uses a smaller 553.4 cc engine and doesn't use the Lynx telescopic front suspension. Apart from that they are the same, with the 2 person Yeti II platform and a 20 inch wide track for easier travel over deep snow. A high windshield protects the riders from the wind, and windshield mirrors help give a better view while going in reverse. The Synchromesh transmission offers two forward gears and a reverse gear. There is storage space under the seats, and a cargo rack is built in along with a trailer hitch.

The Ski-Doo MX Z TNT (2011) is a snow sled built for cross-country riding. This is similar to the Ski-Do MX Z Sport, but has a higher powered engine available and HPG Plus aluminum shocks for more responsive cornering and precision. This model is also followed in the series by the Ski-Doo MX Z X which incorporates several modifications for better control. It continues to use the REV-XP platform and the Pilot 5.7 skis found throughout the series. HPG Plus aluminum shocks offer a good feel for the trail and, combined with the SC-5 rear suspension, allow riders to get a good feel for the trail's bumps. An aluminum handlebar is used here to bring down some of the weight.
