The Sonos S5 is an all-in-one speaker developed by a company that is not known for making speakers. Despite that it takes a unique approach where the consumer can use their iPhone or iPod touch as a remote control, but can't actually play music off of it or dock it. Despite this, the Sonos S5 can source audio from a various locations, including CIFS NAS storage, line-in connected devices, free internet radio stations, iTunes library, or subscription music such as Last.fm, Pandora, Rhapsody, Napster, Sirius or Deezer, depending on what is available in the consumer's geographical location. The Sonos S5 has powerful enough sound to fill a 320 square foot room and is portable enough to be moved about to accommodate a party.
