The system can upscale lower resolutions to improve image quality during streaming video or while playing standard DVDs. Online fuctionality is also included, although a wireless adapter must be purchased seperately, in order to play videos directly from the internet without the use of a computer. Videos can be streamed from such sources as Netflix and Amazon Video on Demand.
