Sony Bloggie Touch
$180.00
Released October, 2010
The Pros:Takes brilliant and clear pictures / video when the lighting and focus are good. Turns on and records very quickly, no long load-up time. Touch screen interface is fun and easy to use.
The Cons:Can't handle low light conditions without lots of grain. Slow auto-focus - sometimes takes a long time to find the subject, suffers even more in low light. Can't compete with similarly priced devices from other manufacturers.
The Sony Bloggie Touch is a pocket-sized MP4 camcorder released in October 2010 as an upgrade from the original Bloggie line. It features a 3” capacitive touchscreen display, an Exmor CMOS Sensor, and a F2.8 wide angle lens.

The latter two components allow it to capture full 1920x1080p high-definition MP4 video and 12.8MP photos, and then relay them to either the 4GB or 8GB of embedded memory. Unfortunately there are no memory expansion options, though users can transmit to a PC via the flip-out USB interface, or to a compatible HDTV via the mini HDMI output. Plus the included Bloggie software (which is only WINDOWS COMPATIBLE) supports automatic uploads to Facebook, Flickr, etc.
