Sony BRAVIA 46EX700
$1,700.00
Released February, 2010
The Pros:Ambient light sensor is calibrated perfectly, doesn't make the display too dim or too bright. Low power draw, exceeding Energy Star ratings. SD upconversion is well handled without the still-frame interpolation problems.
The Cons:Presence sensor tends to turn the TV off if viewers haven't moved around enough to let it know they're still there. Requires a proprietary adapter to use wireless. Contrast diminishes when viewed off-center.
