The Sony BRAVIA DMX-NV1 is an Internet video link that allows for the viewing of Internet video on a Sony BRAVIA DMex compatible television. It connects to the TV via a DMex HDMI connection, and to the Internet via an Ethernet port. It can stream video from Amazon On-Demand, YouTube, and other companies that Sony has a video partnership list. The DMX-NV1 uses the same Xross media bar user interface that the PS3 uses, and it automatically updates itself as the video provider list changes. It also has a Yahoo home page that updates itself with news, weather, and sports. It is controlled by the remote that came with a BRAVIA television. The DMX-NV1 cannot stream media stored on a networked PC.
