The 2009 Sony BRAVIA W Series of LCD televisions offerd by Sony. These HDTV's have true 1080p resolution, and feature several networked TV features, such as Sony BRAVIA Internet Video content, Yahoo! widgets, YouTube and Amazon Video On Demand, which are accessed by attaching the built in Ethernet connection to an existing broadband connection. The BRAVIA Internet Widgets, provided though Yahoo! widgets, allows you to interact with Internet content, such as Yahoo News, Video, Finance, and Flickr while watching TV shows. The Motionflow 120Hz technology and Sony’s BRAVIA Engine 3 enhance picture quality over the 2008 W4100 Series, and lower-end 2009 V5100s. This series is also Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) compliant, enabling easy access to digital photos, music and video stored on a PC or other DLNA server using the XMB interface and the TV’s remote control. The W-Series has 4 HDMI inputs, and comes in 40", 46" and 52" models (see below).
