The Cyber-Shot DSC-S950 is an improvement on the previous year's line of cameras. With an increased megapixel count to 10 megapixels and an increased optical zoom range to 4X, the camera is a slimmer step up. It has a 2.7-inch diagonal LCD, which is larger than the previous year's 2.4 inches, and uses digital image stabilization to help get good pictures even in shaky hands. It comes in silver, pink or black. It includes Face Detection Technology that can identify up to eight faces at a time and adjust focus and exposure so that every face comes out in the clear. It has 7 scene modes to help the inexperienced get the right shot in the right place.
