The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W120 is the lowest-priced model within the line of compact digital cameras. It features 7.2-megapixel Super HAD CCD and a Carl Zeiss 4x optical zoom lens. The DSC-W120 also comes with Dynamic Range Optimization, Face Detection and Sony's well-known Smile Shutter technology (which automatically detects when a photo subject smiles and then snaps a shot). It has 15MB internal memory and is compatible with Memory Stick Duo and Pro Duo media.

- solid construction
- small and easy to carry around
- large display
- easy shooting mode for people who don't want any editing options
- In low light the capable flash with three intensity levels comes to the rescue and provides bright, sharp pictures with warm, natural colours
- the flash recharges after about 1-2 seconds
- impressive video recording for a simple point and shoot
- no fuzz or discoloration between pixels
- rechargeable batteries
- comes w/cords to upload to computer or tv
Cons
- buttons are too small
- deleting pictures is a multi-step process involving menus
- the steadyshot & smile features drain the battery VERY fast
- multiple focus zones, and the camera may focus on the background instead of on the intended subject
- the display is a fingerprint magnet
- basic point and shoot
