The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W220 is a ultra-compact camera announced at the CES and released in April of 2009. With a 4X optical zoom lens that is equivalent to 30-120 mm, the camera is a good choice for a beginning photographer that wants a very small camera. The LCD is 2.7 inches and it comes with optical image stabilization to make sure the pictures come through crisp and clear. Intelligent Scene Recognition is a feature that selects the scene mode for the user automatically, saving time and effort for users who just want to point and click. It comes with Face detection and a Smile Recognition feature that waits to take a picture until everyone in the photo is smiling. It has 15MB of onboard memory/
