The Sony Cybershot DSC-T700 is a 10.1 megapixel, ultra-compact digital camera that features a 4x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens. Zeiss lenses are widely held by photography enthusiasts to be among the highest quality photography lenses available. The DSC-T700 automatically recognizes many conditions and adapts photo settings accordingly. Face recognition ensures sharp focus on people, and smile recognition helps release the shutter at the right moment. Intelligent scene detection helps users select the right scene mode for the current conditions, and if camera shake is detected the image stabilization feature helps keep photos sharp. Internal memory is an impressive 4 GB. The Cybershot DSC-T77 is a similar camera without the internal memory and retails for $100 less.
