Introduced in fall of 2008, the Sony Cybershot DSC-T77 ultra-compact has a 10.1 megapixel CCD sensor and 4x optical zoom lens. As with most Sony Cybershot models, the lens is made by Carl Zeiss optics, which many photographers agree are among the best available. Several included features are designed to help make picture-taking simple while ensuring good results. Face, smile and blink detection help keep the right things in focus, and even assist in determining the right time to release the shutter. Dual-image stabilization helps keep pictures sharp, even when there is some unavoidable camera-shake. Basic retouching, including red-eye fix, can be done direction in-camera.
