The DCR-SR220 is a standard-definition camcorder from Sony that features a 2.3 megapixel CMOS sensor, also capable of 4 megapixel still shots. It has BIONZ and Exmor image processing technology, and is capable of recording to either the 60GB internal hard-drive or to Memory Stick Pro Duo. The camera has face-detection software to automatically adjust focus, exposure and color, and records audio in 5.1 surround. The lens is made by Zeiss and has a 15x optical zoom, with a 200x digital zoom as well, with a progressive shutter and image stabilization. The camera has a USB 2.0 interface for quick file transfer.
