The Sony DCR-SR65 camcorder captures video directly to its internal 40GB hard-drive, but the camera is also equipped with a slot for capture to Memory Stick Duo Pro cards. It features a 1/6" HAD (Hole Accumulating Diode) CCD sensor, capable of capturing still photos as well. The zoom lens is made by Zeiss and can produce magnification up to 25x optically, with an additional 200x digital zoom. The camera also has a progressive shutter, Super-nightshot for infrared photography, scene selector for recalling stored videos, and a USB output for file transfer.
