Sony's DR-BT50 is a higher-end set of wireless Bluetooth headphones, designed for both portable audio use. This set offers many of the features of Sony's mid-range Bluetooth headsets and includes longer battery life and increased driver size, at 40mm, and longer battery life of up to 17 hours of continuous music playback. The DR-BT50 has a built-in microphone to use with compatible mobile phones, as well as integrated remote controls on the earcups. The battery is rechargeable, via an AC power adapter (included), and the operating range is also larger than Sony's other Bluetooth headphones, at about 9 meters. Other features include a padded closed design, volume controls and neodymium magnets to protect the drivers.
