The Sony DVDirect VRD-MC10 is a multi-function optical drive designed to easily transfer digital photos and videos to DVD. Compatible with nearly any camcorder, VCR, or Digital Video Recorder, the VRD-MC10 records standard definition and high definition AVCHD DVD discs that consumers can playback in any compatible DVD or Blu-ray Disc player. In addition, VRD-MC10 supports real-time recordings of digital photos to DVD from MemoryStick Pro, Memory Pro Duo, Secure Digital (SD/SDHC), Compact Flash, or xD Picture Card memory cards. To top it all off, the VRD-MC10 comes equipped with a 2.7” color LCD screen that consumers can use to preview video and digital photos. In fact, the consumer can go so far as to utilize the VRD-MC10’s integrated HDMI, Component, or Composite video outputs to playback DVD content directly on an HD television. The VRD-MC10 also offers 5 recording quality modes that allow up to 12 hours of video to be recorded per disc, H.264 format recordings in 1080i resolution from Sony AVCHID HDD/MemoryStick Handyman camcorders, a USB port, a remote control, and an AC power adapter. The Sony DVDirect VRD-MC10 retails for $299.99 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty. Extended service plans are available for purchase.
