The Sony Ericsson P1 is a mid-range 3G-enabled smartphone that uses a touchscreen and stylus, as well as a QWERTY keypad layout, with dual-character keys. It also has handwriting recognition capabilities, and its screen is large (2.6"-diagonal) and displays 256k colors. It has an Opera Internet browser, RSS reader, and emal synchronization. It also has an mp3/mpeg4 player with 160MB of internal memory, expandable up to 4GB, and includes a 512MB card. The P1 is Wi-Fi enabled, and features a document viewer/editor for Microsoft Office files. It also has a 3.15-megapixel digital camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary videocalling VGA camera. It uses the Symbian OS v9.1, and its other features include a business card scanner, stereo FM radio, organizer, and iSkoot mobile Skype application.
