The Sony Ericsson W580 is a mid-range Walkman phone. It has a sliding frame and is quad-band receptive with a 2.0" 256k-color screen. Its mp3 player has features like track recognition and Sony's Walkman user interface. The W580 also has a built-in 2.0-megapixel digital camera with video capture and photo-to-blog uploading. It also has an FM radio receiver, and can browse the Internet using the NetFront browser. The W580 uses M2 memory sticks, and comes with one 512MB stick, which can be expanded up to 4GB. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity, calorie counter and pedometer, ringtone composer, and multiple colors. Battery life is generally up to 9 hours of talk time per charge. The W580 had two release names, the W580c for China, and the W580i for the rest of the world.
