The Sony Ericsson W980 is an upper-mid-level 3G-enabled flip phone. It is one of Sony's Walkman/phone combinations, and focuses on being an mp3 player and a phone at the same time. It has two displays, one internal 2.2"-diagonal, and a smaller external display, both 256k-colors, and uses an accelerometer for autorotation. The music player uses Sony's Walkman user interface, and includes such features as track identification, custom playlists and shake controls. It also has built-in stereo speakers. The phone has a 3.15-megapixel digital camera with video capture, as well as a secondary camera for videocalling. The W980 has an FM radio receiver, NetFront Internet browser, and Bluetooth connectivity. It does not feature a memory card slot, but its internal storage capacity is 8GB. Expected battery life is up to nine hours of talk time on the 2G network.
