The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is a simplified smartphone focused on multimedia delivery. This is in the same family as the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro but doesn't use a slide-out keyboard. The 8.1 megapixel camera is designed to capture images in high definition, and has a maximum aperture of f/2.4.

Sony's Exmor R technology for mobile CMOS sensors is used to capture high-quality, bright pictures and video in situations where lighting is poor. Images can be displayed on the 3.7 inch Reality Display that uses the Mobile BRAVIA engine to enhance the contrast and create richer colors, and a built-in HDMI connector allows for the streaming if pictures and video to an external display. This phone uses the Android (Gingerbread) operating system and takes advantage of Google Mobile services.
