Sony Handycam DCR-DVD650

The Sony Handycam DCR-DVD650 is a standard definition DVD camcorder from Sony's 2009 lineup and is a step up from the DCR-DVD610.  The camcorder features hybrid movie recording directly to DVD or Memory Stick Duo media for increased flexibility and is compatible with a variety of DVD formats including DVD+RW.  It  includes a professional Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar zoom lens for 60x optical and 2000x digital zoom and utilizes Sony's SteadyShot image stabilization to reduce blur.  The DCR-DVD650 is designed with a 2.7" touch LCD screen that rotates up to 270 degrees for multiple viewing angles.  It includes a 1/8" advanced HAD CCD imager for crisp video and still images and has a built-in zoom microphone to add realistic sound to the footage.  The DCR-DVD650 differs from it's predecessor, the DCR-DVD610, since it has a more powerful zoom lens and has wider compatibility with more DVD formats.

+1agreedisagree
