The Sony Handycam DCR-SX41 is a standard definition camcorder from Sony's 2009 lineup. The camcorder has 8 GB of embedded flash memory allowing it to store up to 6 hours of high quality footage. It features hybrid movie recording to the 8 GB memory and Memory Stick Duo media for increased flexibility. The DCR-SX41 is designed with a 2.7" touch LCD screen that rotates up to 270 degrees for multiple viewing angles. The camcorder includes a professional Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar zoom lens for 60x optical and 2000x digital zoom. It also includes a 1/8" advanced HAD CCD imager for crisp video and still images and can be connected directly to Sony's VRD-P1 DVD writer to burn DVDs without the need of a computer. The DCR-SX41 has a built-in zoom microphone to add realistic sound to the footage. The camcorder is available in silver, red, or blue, and comes with a 1 year limited warranty. The main difference between it and Sony's DCR-SX40 is that it has double the flash memory compared to the 4 GB of the DCR-SX40.
