The HDR-UX10 is a camcorder from Sony that can record to DVD format. It features a 2.3 megapixel CMOS sensor that captures 1920x1080 quality video and is equipped with a 4 megapixel still photo sensor, and has BIONZ and Exor technology for optimal image processing. The camera records to DVD media but can also record to Memory Stick Duo Pro. The lens is capable of 15x optical zoom and 180x digital zoom, and is manufactured by Zeiss. The camera also features face-detection software to auto-caliberate focus, exposure and color for up to 8 faces in the frame. The camera is equipped with USB 2.0 and HDMI interfaces.
