The Sony HDR-UX20 is a high-definition camcorder that records in full-HD 1920x1080 resolution. It has a 2.3 megapixel CMOS sensor, with a 4 megapixel still photo sensor. The camera features BIONZ and Exmor technology for optimal image processing, and also has face-recognizing software to automatically adjust focus, exposure and colors. The Sony HDR-UX20 can record to an internal 8GB flash drive or to removeable Memory Stick Duo media, as well as to DVD media. The camera features a 15x optical zoom lens by Zeiss, which also has a 180x digital zoom feature. Audio is recorded in 5.1, and USB and HDMI interfaces allow for output.
