Sony Internet TV NSX-32GT1
$800.00
Released October, 2010
The Pros:Easy to hook up external devices (Four HDMI inputs and four USB inputs). Built-in wireless connectivity adds to the convenience of accessing online content. Share content between your phone and your television.
The Cons:Does not have a swivel stand. Not 3D capable. Poor black levels.
The Sony Internet TV NSX-32GT1 is one of four Sony Internet HDTVs released in mid 2010 alongside the matching, Internet-capable NSZ-GT1. Unlike its CCFL LCD 24” predecessor (NSX-24GT1), the NSX-32GT1 is a 24” LED outfitted with Edge LED backlight technology, which means for a much higher contrast ratio.

Like all its peers, the device is a combination of standard television and Internet Television, courtesy of Google TV. The embedded, pre-installed applications give users full access to Internet services (audio/video streaming social networking); plus access to the Android Market allows them to download new applications. Featured also is a QWERTY remote (described as looking like a gaming controller) that makes it simple for users to navigate the web, type, and search.
Additional Information
Later in 2011 access to the Android Market and the ability to link to select mobile phones was also added.
