We've had this old tv for about 10 years now. It's worked as well as you can expect. The only issue we've had is that the TV started flickering on and off.

The solution is actually quite easy as referenced here:

If that link goes down, basically remove the back shell and look for a screw labeled 'screen'. Play with it a bit until the picture is restored. The screw is located just behind all the inputs on the rear. The problem is basically that the TV is programmed so the picture tube shuts off the moment something is wrong.
