The Sony NV-U94T is an automotive GPS navigation system designed to relate specific directions to drivers over a hands-free text-to-voice interface. It has a 4.8" widescreen (16:10) 480 x 272 pixel touch screen with anti-glare and a high brightness feature. The specially designed Si-TFT Active Matrix touch screen offers a simple command interface which can be controlled through slight gestures with the index finger. The U94T comes pre-loaded with North American map content and the device includes a mini-USB port to update map information. The device supports both 2D and 3D maps and on-the-go photo viewing accessible through the included memory stick DUO slot. For additional support the NV-U94T also includes Bluetooth hands-free calling, RDS-TMC Traffic Messaging channel, and a Dual view-3D Junction Guide which allows more detailed browsing of distinct travel areas.
