Introduced in early September 2008 at CEDIA, the VAIO RT Series is made up of 2 all-in-one computer systems from Sony. Aimed at enthusiasts and those who want the latest technology in a stylish all-in-one enclosure, the RT series includes all that is required for fast computing, content creation, watching high definition media and even gaming - surpassing the LV series in all possible ways. Featuring an all-in-screen design much like the iMac, both models feature 25.5" screens with full 1080p capable 1920 x 1200 resolutions, and 2 500GB 7200rpm drives. Both models also feature Blu-ray writers, mobile NVIDIA 9600M gaming capable video cards (with 512MB of dedicated VRAM), wireless N support, bluetooth and built in 2.1 audio. Coming in at a mammoth 41.4 pounds, the only differences between the two models are double the RAM (4 and 8GB of DDR2 800MHz) and the processors - a quad-core Intel Q8200 running at 2.33GHz for the cheaper $3299.99 model, and a quad-core Intel Q9400 running at 2.66GHz for the more expensive $3999.99 one. Both come in black only.
