The Sony VAIO VGC-JS230J is a series of all-in-one desktop computer released in early 2009. All variations are aesthetic only; the essential features remain the same across all models. These PCs feature a 20.1” LCD screen, an Intel Core 2 Duo E5200 at 2.50 GHz, 4GB of DDR2 memory and a 500GB serial ATA hard drive, making it suitable for general use. They include an integrated Intel G45 Express Graphics chipset, two 3-watt stereo speakers and also support 5.1 high definition surround sound. These desktops also have an 8x DVD writer, wireless 802.11 b/g/n networking, a multimedia card reader (Memory Stick/SD) and Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition. Users with multimedia devices will appreciate the 5 USB ports and 1 iLINK firewire connection. A slim-profile USB keyboard and optical mouse are also included. Those who use a computer for basic tasks and perform light multimedia work should find the Sony VGC-JS230Js more than acceptable.
