Sharing much in common with its lesser brother, the RT150Y features a 25.5" screen (1920 x 1200), 2 500GB 7200rpm drives, a quad-core Intel Q9400 running at 2.66GHz, 8GB of DDR2 800MHz ram, a Blu-ray writer, a mobile NVIDIA 9600M gaming capable video card (with 512MB of dedicated VRAM), wireless N support, bluetooth and built in 2.1 audio. Pros
- fully 1080p capable
- can write to the newest optical media (many times the size of DVDs)
- has the connections the other series should (eSATA, HDMI output etc.. .)
- much more powerful than any iMac-like PC released (including the top-of-the-line iMac)
- monstrous amount of CPU power and more RAM than any consumer-focused PC - on par with similarly priced Mac Pros
Cons
- updated processor and extra 4GB of RAM is not worth $700
- still using DDR2 (not faster DDR3)
- while decent, the 9600M is not a gamers video card
- extremely expensive
- very poor 1-year limited warranty
- will be out-of-date in 6 months like any other computer
