The Sony VAIO W Series is a mini notebook that is ultra-portable and ultra-cheap. Designed for a web experience, the notebook can browse the web, includes a webcam and microphone for pictures and webchatting, and can handle photos, music and videos without any problem. It is better than other Sony laptops at saving energy with an ENERGY STAR 5.0 rating, meaning it sticks to the efficiency guidelines designed by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. The Sony VAIO W weighs only 2.62 pounds and has a 10.1" WXGA sceen that is supported by a LED backlight and XBRITE-ECO LCD Technology.
