The Sony Walkman NWZ-W202 is a cordless MP3 player designed to fit snugly on the head. The first of three Sony NWZ walkmans, the NWZ-W202 comes equipped with a pair of 13.5mm headphones that come in the shape of two small bits that clip into the ear and loop behind the neck. Cited as lightweight and strong (doesn’t fall off the head easily), the NWZ-W202 features a revolutionary Zappin function that allows the user to browse and search through his/her song list without a display. The Zappin Function essentially works by playing a clip of each song as the user turns a jog dial. As soon as the user locates the clip appropriate to the song he or she desires, the user merely stop turning the dial. In addition, the NWZ-W202 offers support for MP3, AAC, WMA (DRM), L-PCM, and WMT files. The NWZ-W202 also includes a drag-and-drop transfer, 2GB of storage space, a 30-minute full charge for 12 hours of playback, and a 3-minute quick charge for 90 minutes of playback. The Sony Walkman NWZ-W202 retails for $69.99 and comes with a 90 day limited warranty.
