The Sony Xplod MEX-DV2200 is an automotive in-dash CD/DVD receiver that is a part of Sony's Xplod line. It has a detachable faceplate with a front auxillary input making it easy to connect a digital audio player with a 1/8" jack. It supports CD, DVD and SACD (super audio CD) discs as well as MP3/WMA playback and is also iPod control ready with option interface and is satellite and HD radio ready with option tuners. There are 4-volt preouts for front, rear, center, and subwoofer to give a clearer sound and improved dynamic range. It has a seven band tone control equalizer and delivers 52 watts of power the 4 channels. The included wireless card remote gives full control of the system without having to take your eyes off the road. Other notable features include Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II and dts Digital Surround Sound playback as well as Karaoke capability.
