The Sony Xplod XAV-W1 is an automotive in-dash double-DIN CD/DVD receiver that is a part of Sony's Xplod line. It features a 16:9, 7" touch screen that has adjustable contrast for optimal viewing. It supports CD, DVD and SACD (super audio CD) discs as well as MP3/WMA playback and has 3 auxillary A/V inputs for other media sources. It is also iPod control ready with option interface and is satellite and HD radio ready with option tuners. There are dual zone outputs so you can enjoys different sources in the front and rear of the car. There are 4-volt preouts for front, rear, center, and subwoofer to give a clearer sound and improved dynamic range. It has a seven band tone control equalizer and delivers 52 watts of power the 4 channels. The Center Stage Organizer allows users to create a virtual center channel speaker even if it is not connected and digital sound processing gives optimal sound for a desired sitting position. The included wireless card remote gives full control of the system without having to take your eyes off the road. Other notable features include Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II and dts Digital Surround Sound playback as well as Karaoke capability.
