The Epic Comp is a competitive cross-country bike from Specialized's Epic series that is designed to provide fast and efficient performance. The bike features an M5 alloy frame with 100mm of FSR suspension to reduce bumps and give a smooth ride. It includes Avid Elixir R hydraulic brakes with long-lasting metallic pads for smooth braking control. The Epic Comp has a full suspension system with an enhanced AFR inertia rear shock and a damper made with Specialized and Fox parts. The bike is available in red/white or charcoal/white color and has a suggested retail price of $2800. Specialized also makes the Epic Comp Carbon and Epic Comp 29 models which differ in some of the components.
