The Specialized Myka FSR Rim is an entry-level, full suspension mountain bike geared towards female riders. The 2010 version of the Rim relies on a softer design with lowered shock positioning. One feature that has remained is the X Fusion 02RLA rear shock, which was custom-tuned to work alongside the front/rear derailleurs and the RockShox Tora Slite Le Femme fork. Compared to similar bikes, the FSR Rim is considered especially good for riding over tough/uneven terrain, as critics cite that the bumps can barely be felt. Note also that the Rim utilizes a condensed frame, which makes the unit friendly to short riders, as well as those with shorter arms. Signature to the Rim is that it doesn’t drag on uphill rides; it maintains the same performance as if going downhill.
