The Specialized Rockhopper is the base model in Specialized's affordable line of Rockhopper hardtail mountain bikes designed for riders new to mountain biking. It has a trail-inspired fully butted M4 alloy frame for lightweight strength and features a smooth hydraulic damping SR fork with preload adjust and lockout. The crankset uses Octalink-splined BB interface for reliable power transfer and SRAM X5 rear derailleur and X4 8-speed trigger shifters give reliable gear shifting. The alloy double-walled rims have CNC sidewalls for lightweight durability and 26" Specialized Fast Trak LK Sport tires give good traction. The Specialized Rockhopper comes in a
Red/White or Silver/Black finish.
