The Specialized Roubaix is the base model Roubaix performance endurance road bike offered by Specialized, and is designed for long, smooth and fast rides. It is built using a FACT 6r carbon, triple-monocoque frame with shock absorbing Zertz inserts for added comfort. The Specialized FACT carbon monocoque fork is full carbon and also features Zertz inserts to help absorb vibrations. It uses a Shimano 105 10-speed drivetrain, cassette and Tektro brakes. The Mavic CXP22, alloy triple-wall rims have CNC machined sidewalls and come with Specialized Roubaix Pro II 700x23c tires and Standard presta valve tubes. The Specialized Roubaix is avaialable in Gloss Carbon with a long cage rear derailleur as the Roubaix Triple or with a short cage rear derailleur as the Roubaix Compact.
