Specialized S-Works Safire

The Specialized S-Works Safire is the top model in Specialized's line of Safire high performance mountain bikes designed specifically for women. The Az1-constructed FACT 10m carbon FSR frame and seatstays use women's specific geometry and tubing adn the Specialized Ariel SL women's saddle with hollow Ti rails helps give a comfortable ride. The Safire-tuned AFR Brain rear shock with Trail Tune inertia valve and Brain Fade adjustment lets the rider choose the optimum blend of shock absorbtion and pedaling efficiency while the 120mm-travel Future Shock S120 fork with Trail Tune and Brain Fade gives added performance. It uses a fast-control Shimano XTR crankset for light, durable and fast performance and the Avid XX hydraulic disc brakes with pad adjustment gives pro stopping power. It has light yet sturdy Roval Control SL XC wheels with an oversized axle to handle rough riding and the S-Works The Captain front tire with Kevlar bead and The Captain Control rear tire give great XC performance. The Specialized S-Works Safire comes in a Carbon/White finish.
