The Specialized Safire Comp is the base model in Specialized's line of Safire high performance mountain bikes designed specifically for women. The FSR M5 manipulated alloy frame uses women's-specific ORE down/top tubes and Specialized Ariel women's saddle with hollow Cr-Mo rails helps give a comfortable, lightweight and durable ride. The Fox Triad rear shock has on-the-fly 3-position damping to match the terrain and features lockout for maximum pedaling efficiency while the 130mm-travel Fox F130 RL alloy fork with compression/rebound adjust and lockout gives added customization. The custom Shimano crankset gives high quality and a comfortable gear ratio and Avid Elixir R SL hydraulic disc brakes with alloy backed pads give durable and controlled stopping power. The S-Works The Captain front tire with Aramid bead and The Captain Control rear tire give versitile XC performance with DT Swiss sleeved rims for great durability. The Specialized Safire Comp comes in Black/Komen (Limited Edition) or Blue/White.
