Specialized Safire Expert
The Specialized Safire Expert is the mid model in Specialized's line of Safire high performance mountain bikes designed specifically for women. It comes with either a Safire FSR M5 manipulated alloy frame or a FACT 9m carbon FSR frame with M5 alloy seatstays/chainstays, both of which use women's specific geometry and feature a Specialized Ariel women's saddle with hollow Cr-Mo rails for a a comfortable, lightweight and durable ride. The Safire-tuned AFR Brain rear shock with Trail Tune inertia valve and Brain Fade adjustment lets the rider choose the optimum blend of shock absorbtion and pedaling efficiency while the Versatile Fox Talas RL alloy fork with 140-100mm adjustable travel, compression/rebound adjust and lockout give added customization. A Custom Shimano 2-piece crankset promises stiffness, efficiency and high quality while the Avid Elixir CR SL hydraulic disc brakes give complete control and powerful stopping force. The Captain front tire with Aramid bead and The Captain Control rear tire give versitile XC performance with DT Swiss X420SL sleeved rims for great durability. The Specialized Safire Expert comes in White/Silver with an M5 alloy frame or in Carbon Brown/Tan with a 9m carbon frame as the Safire Expert Carbon.
